ADVENTURES AT

My Friend Mark

Ply me with laughter around chocolate mousse,  acrobats and wise stories so to know each other well  – well enough. Listen and learn about white or yellow. Wrong numbers. Headings and budgets. Under banks, over homes, and all about loans. Trading marks in quarters and halves, bold or not. So much time on the blue phone line.

We skimmed off the surface of politeness for the depths of personal dilemmas. Our daily friendship lost to a dark business deed with a personal dart.  Mostly laughs, some tears, a very funny fish shirt, and one painful goodbye.

Mutual esteem, never forgot.
